No, a liger is the product of a lion father and a tiger mother. A tigon is from a tiger father and a lion mother, and they aren't as big.

I live down the street from parrot jungle island where that liger lives and they have him in a small raggety ass dog looking cage with no grass juz maltch and dirt with a few shrubs..I feel sooo bad for him..he should be living in a very nice sancuary
