Anorexia is slowly losing favor in western culture..times are changing back to a fuller figure as a desired norm.

Force feeding is bad...yes i know but, seriously? whats wrong with big women? Why is it sooo hard for people to accept the fact that big women are beautiful too? Now in days people thing you have to be the size of a twig to be beautiful. I'm not the litest jewel in the bunch but i know i'm still beautiful. Why is it so bad for thick women to love themselves. I'd rather be thick and happy rather then skinny with low self-esteem

Right. I was just replying to MrsMohamedLemine, who made it seem like Mauritanians' love for obesity is simply culture and nothing to be worried about. She only sees a problem with anorexia.I'm a young American woman, too. I was just trying to tell MrsMohamedLemine that both obesity and anorexia are dangerous, and that neither should be accepted as "culture."

nothing to be embarrassed about, life is not about how long you live, i prefer 40 happy years than 70 sad years. weather is wrong or right cultures practiced around the world including western men love big breast as a result women obliged to breast implant or dye their hair blond. by the way Mauritanians are happier than Americans or europeans.

This comment is to si96 I am an overweight American woman. The same things that you are saying about Mauritanian women can be said about american women. The only difference is the cause, while they are doing their bodies harm by using apetite enhanching dangerous drugs,we as american women are using apetite suppresing drugs that have the same if not worse side effects. Our girls arent being forefed(which i dont agree with by the way)but they are starving themselves to be
