I think he's living a pretty idyllic life- imagine spending hours in the countryside, putting natural sculptures together. :)Granted, his fingers probably hurt fiercely a lot of the time.

if you've seen the whole documentary, he talks about how he PreFerS his hands to toolshe didn't say he never uses toolsand a lot of the work he does is commissionedso he's paid to do what the commissioner wantsif it's a really huge pieceit's obviously necessary to use tools like a crane

I was so upset when it collapsed it was such a shame!!! I would have been gutted. I think hes very patient. I am studying his work as a part of my natural forms project at a level art and think his work is amazing :)
