Is anyone else out there old enough to have gone to the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis about forty years ago to see Zep? The old Guthrie held about 1440; that's right! My friends and I were there; sadly, no photos. Around the same time we caught LZ's rival Jeff Beck and his group at the Labor Temple. Unfortunately the PA system was acting up and so Jeff's vocalist was a bit frustrated at not being able to sing. Guy's name was Rod Stewart, with Ronnie Wood playing bass, Mick Waller on drums.
