True, the transporter movie looks like Hitman, but either if it's Vin Diesel or Jason Statham, they would carry out the role as agent 47 way better then Timothy Olyphant.

I'm not really a fan of Statham, except for his roles in WAR and Death Race, which weren't great movies but were good average action flicks. The thing is that his reprised role of Frank Martin in the "Transporter" series looks far too much like Hitman. A tall, thin assassin wearing a black suit, red tie, and carrying twin silver pistols? Can anyone say "copyright infringement?" Vin Diesel, maybe. He was great in XXX and the Riddick movies.

I totally agree with you, I have seen the movie and it's shit, like you said, Olyphant has too much of a baby face and the about stealth and silence? it's not there, the all the hitman/agent 47 feeling is gone, I rather see Jason Statham or Vin Diesel in the lead.

when you shoot someone they bleed all over the place all of the so called action movies you listed have no blood so they are eye candy few people know who 47 is

Bateson was just one example. Take any average white male, shave his head and give him a suit, you have a 47 look-a-like. As long as he fits the bill and is not Olyphant, anyone would have worked. How about William Saddler, from Die Hard 2? Mack from Future Weapons; he was in the Armed Service for a decade! The man fits it perfect. There are literally dozens of examples. If they looked hard enough they would have found the perfect match.
