Aside from the obvious references taken from the actual film, there are many people and things recreated from the actual set. If you watch the 4 part "The making of the Shinning" you will see examples: the ballroom dancers rehearsing, the gentleman in the black sweater with the white bird emblem, the woman who hands over the script, the AD who speaks into the walkie talkie, the camera operators, etc. And, the sets were actually like that, bumped up right against each other.

the track is 'natureland' by brazilian DJ Amon Tobin from his album 'Supermodified'. a sensational artist, go buy all his stuff. i think the track uses some samples from the score of 'the shining'
