thatis totally true,idisagree with woodkey when callsit a kung fu movie,thatis not kung fu at all,that is combined kung fu with mma features,you can notice that inthe begining ofthe fight donie tries tomake a statemnt he only usesbrazilian jiujitsu to control his oponent,to me thestatemnt is that you can do mma and still be fast enough to control a kung fu oponent and really mix the arts,a little of everything,like anderson silva who is good in every aspect ofthe game,and that he's an mma fan

Donnie Yen used aspects of Karate, Boxing, Kickboxing, Thaiboxing and Jujitsu in that fight scene. Nice to see a aspect of MMA where wrestling or jujitsu isn't the base art.

I love Donnie but I think that - despite him still learning, improve, taking up new stuff like modern MMA - i think he really was a lot better when he was younger in the Hong Kong action scenes.Tony jaa is also a bit too old IMHO at 30+, i dont think he will be that great when he is 40...But you are right, we need new action heroes who can grow older while still nearing their peak.

Donnie yen fighting style is unique because u get jackie chan all kickboxing, jet li with his wushu and tony jaa doing muay thai. Donnie mixes in mma stuff like ground and pound and knees in a side mount. I love it and i'm sure everybody will believe me when i say the next big hong kong action star will need to have a fighting style that is different from what we have seen so far.
