This is my favourite contemporary Vampire movie.It's visually stylish and atmospheric, with a great soundtrack. Anybody knocking this film obviously doesn't appreciate these qualities. Catherine Deneuve makes this worth watching just for her incredible beauty and mysterious quality alone - the modern day Garbo!!!!

I can't understand why any character does anything. There is no motivation for their actions, the plot is mediocre, so is the acting. David Bowie is a talented actor, but not here.But nobody has any reason for what they do in this movie
