Phoebe has the voice of an angel. From a similar era is Essra Mohawk who's 1970 Primordial Lovers is incredible. Check it out. She's a singer/songwriter superb also known for writing CL's "Change of Heart" & for singing on School House Rock.

Thanks for the recommendations, rfr - they're young, talented and attractive - but for me, this particular performance by Snow is auditory morphine.

There's good music out there Onefodder! But you have to search for it. The MTV corporate sell outs & political posers take centerstage now. You want strawberry, vanilla or chocolate listen to radio. You want something original and different check college stations and smaller clubs or jazz clubs! Check Sarah Hickman or Cat Powers. There's some good smooth jazz talent out there too. I gave up, but when I see friends' bands there's more & more good young talent coming up. |
