It Is Mark Knopfler, Yiddish/British Genius of Rock and Roll, the one the Brits would rather forget about.Only the GUY that preserved British Rock and Roll during the Disco Era. Apart from Dire Straits - NOTHING out of England sold any records during that period in the USA. Check the records if you will. Only "Who Are You" and "Breakfast in America" sold anything like DireStraits on an Album Basis. It was a time when the UK was had no NEW talent, etc. and so on. -S-
