The empire's expansion continued for a generation or more after Genghis's death in 1227. Under Genghis's successor Ögedei Khan the speed of expansion reached its peak. Mongol armies pushed into Persia, finished off the Xi Xia and the remnants of the Khwarezmids, and came into conflict with the imperial Song Dynasty of China, starting a war that would last until 1279 and that would conclude with the Mongols gaining control of all of China. And no you sound American, but nice try.

Contrary to popular belief, Genghis Khan did not conquer all of the areas of the Mongol Empire. At the time of his death, the Mongol Empire stretched from the Caspian Sea to the Sea of Japan.

You just proved "your world" is "centered around greece" and does no extend further than "greece", where probably hellenistic culture is still a major belief, probably why other countries are more powerful now. On top of that, you keep repeating the same thing. I can see you don't know Genghis at all, I know both Alex and Genghis, hence I've been comparing them. You're history is riveted. That's why you're repeating yourself. Thus, speaking with you is worthless. I speak REAL ENGLISH: BRITISH ;)

By the way the World lives by Hellenistic ideas or haven't you noticed. Time to go back to school. Khan butchered and slaved his way thru the world that's his legacy. A great conqueror but nothing more. A Hitler of his time. Alexander brought with him Greek culture, values and ideals still used even in India. It hasn't escaped me that you didn't react to my statement you are an American, as I am. Your language usage reveals it. These Greeks 300 and after helped develop the current world ideals.

Where does "movie" come from? This is not "300 the movie", this is real proper history that you can read from history book I guarantee you. I read biographies and historic accounts and sources about Khan, his soldiers had riveted loyalty and honor who followed him to their death. Alexander lost his soldier's motivation near the end. You can wish, but fact remains the same, and this is fact.

You are seriously misinformed, you're a joke lol. Mongols were among the most ethnic, race tolerated empire in the administrative realm. They even had religious tolerance, and his military had unwavering tolerance to Genghis. He contributed the famous "code of law" among Far East, Middle East all the way to Western Culture. He structured the "Silk Road" as what is known now. These are all cultural and materialistic values still used to THIS DAY. Hellenistic ideas are ancient history.

No young child, you are completely wrong again. Alexander led and his Greeks followed. Genghis's soldiers were his slaves. Stop going to the movies.
SAITOXIII (December 31, 1969 at 4:59 pm)
I hope you are talking about Alexander who slaved his men to fighting against the Indians? Cause Genghis's army did not think about seizing to fight, Khan's morales were high, and he knew his people well, people respected him, and the enemies feared him. Alexander's ego led to his army's weak morale by the end of his legacy. That's right, Alexander SLAVED his soldiers, not Genghis. You keep bringing up points that demotes Alexander. I bet if I was arguing for Alexander, I could do better.
