You are equating greatness with difficulty. Some of the most technically difficult guitar music I've heard was also boring in my opinion (not all of it, but a lot). How long it takes to learn a song doesn't have much to do with how good it is, most of the best guitar songs are pretty easy to learn, but writing them is another thing altogether.

Haha man...this song is actually pretty easy to play on guitar, and very easy to pick out if you understand what a suspended chord sounds like.

its amazing how eddie plays those chords that basicly only he can play. i try playing this song on guitar, and i can barely hear the chords. eddie has his own playing style, and his own sound, and his own music. his chords and notes r physically impossible to replicate!!! eddie is my GOD!!! NO ONE...not even yngwie...is better. yngiwe is amazing, but eddie still has that 1% more skill over yngwie. EDDIE FOREVER!!!

Kid, no it doesn't.I dont want to take the time to learn eruption but from watching like seven of my friends learned eruption in two weeks and they can play it perfectly...im guessing you don't play guitar?anyone can tap and tremelo pick, its the hand movements...But im not dissing Eddie, hes amazing but Eruption isn't that great.
