Well you can't argue that everything Ron said about the economy has come true and he is right that your spending overseas is slowly taking you guys down. I hope the president elect Obama will cut the overseas spending of your military so at least you can put that money into better use at home. I just state the facts and knew from the beginning that Ron Paul would not get the nominee but you can't give up without trying can you?And for the third time Peace out ;)

He couldn't be the Republican nominee instead of McCain because Republicans voted overwhelmingly against him. He raised a ton of money, ran a ton of ads, and got a ton of free media attention to get his message out there. Republican voters heard it and rejected it, as they did for Giuliani, Romney, and Huckabee, too. That's the process. Funny how you don't see the supporters of Rudy, Romney, or the Huck whining about it en masse.

Dude if you ask me, I would vote for Ron Paul every single day of my life, fact is that the big media loved 3 candidates, Obama, Hillary and McCain. Obama for being new hope, Hillary for some reason I can't think of and McCain for being that Maverick that he is in the Senate.Again Peace out ;)

Why couldn't Ron Paul have been the Republican nominee instead of McCain? Oh well... Here's hoping that Obama will shock America towards the right direction, so that in 2012, we'll have a presidential candidate that will carry the torch for Ron Paul.

The media had nothing to do with it. He is out of touch with reality. He wants to eliminate Social Security and repeal the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and says Lincoln was wrong to free the slaves. He flat embarrassed himself in the debates: watch?v=8RVtc2S6sCw. Even in Texas, where he's been a Congressman for decades and everyone knows his views, he polled just 5 percent of the Republican vote. You can't hang that one on the media. |
