bogshaun, Helen Keller wasn't brain damaged with multiple internal deformaties. It is an insult to both the memory of Helen Keller & the severity of this babies "inoperable" deformities to compare the two. For example, as this baby grows it's brain will quickly outgrow its skull, causing increasing presure & a need for more operations to incert drains and shunts in it's head. That problem is just one of the multitude of tortures ahead for this baby. The list could go on and on. Its very sad.

Congrats, you've given a brain damaged baby a makeover. Now what? She's blind, deaf, & will never develop mentally because shes horribly brain damaged. She has a future filled with painful medical procedures that she can never understand or refuse. Cute story, but not so cute if she lives 2 B a teenager. Her well meaning family R in NO WAY equipt 2 care 4 her, so she'll end up locked away to live a life in a slient, pain-filled void of blackness! Congratulations! Next time listen to the Doctors!

I think story is the most touching I've heard in a long time. I'm glad that she's getting help. I hope she has a long and happy life and you can see the love that her parents lavish on her. It's heart-warming to know.
