they use them in prisons its a rubber pellet that the put in a shot gun this system baretta designed made it so it goes allot faster and made it more acurate a long ranges

It does not have its own propulsion. As manga12 said, the amount of gas released from the initial explosion is altered, thereby increasing or decreasing the speed of the shell. So if you adjust the gun for a long range shot and you hit somebody closer, then its going to go straight through as the speed is way to high. It's just that simple.

right but its effective range is not really that far. a few hundred feet if even that.I mean this is still experamental they still do have bugs to work out of it. It works you see it with your own eyes here.

i can see what you are saying about changing the sight, that is just compensating for the drop of the round but like "swiftjeff" said unless the round is self propelled somehow it defies physics, its like throwing a rock as soon as it leaves your hand it starts slowing down |
