Boy! i have a problem playing a 6 string let alone a 12 string....in fact i could probably master a 2 string guitar

A 12 string guitar was also used to record "Stairway to Heaven" by Led Zeppelin. Very beautiful sounding guitars.

My dad used to play this song. I guess it kind of grew on me. Now I think of my dad when I hear it because he used to sing it.

The GL song you are referring to is about a shipwreck "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" it has nothing to do with Ella Fitzgerald the singer!
