This track is great! I have it on CD. "SOUL HEAVEN featuring Kerri Chandler & Dennis Ferrer" Disk 1. Bought it from HMV around 2006. Another great track from that same CD is "AFTER THE STORM" by Giglo Supreme. Do you have a full lenghth version of this on Vinyl you can play in full. I am hoping it has a lengthy and uninterrupted saxophone to it.

One of my favorite things about deep house is the play between uplifting soulful or vocal-styled songs and darker underground tracks like this. There's room for both and they redefine each other like a palette cleanser. Coming out of a gospel jam into something like this is a SERIOUS feeling on the dance floor, and Kerri is the master of creating a profound sense of deepness with a minimum of ingredients. |
