yes they did it last season. for their opening rep this season they did three tharp ballets:Nine Sinatra Songs, and two world premieres.

The National Ballet of Canada just performed this and they also used smoke in the background. It worked brilliantly with the lighting!

It is a very nice performance. I like this gentle dance, the lighting.Though I like their dresses,too,I can`t decide if I like the idea with red socks.They stick out too much. Music is putting me to sleep.I like the ending when they disappear in the darkness very much.

Usually I am very anti-Twyla/anti-modern (super classical freak that I am). However, I actually ADORE "In the Upper Room". Although, I DO hate the coustumes. Ah well, you can't have everything...

hi dancie .... thanks for posting upper room on you tube ,,,, i am one of the dancers in this version that you used this is the filming we did for television .... thats why the costumes are white instead of the usaul grey prison stripes ... brought back alot of memeories haven t seen those people that i danced with in many years ,,, thanks daniel
