He is not condemning the US. But the scriptures enjoin us to RISE ABOVE nationalistic ideas (Galatians 3:28. Being "patriotic" undermines our spiritual lives. Flags, systems of government etc are all false idols; reject them immediately. Let's get rid of them. Let's follow Jesus and Jesus alone, not Jesus as repackaged by the American right. Jesus does not love Americans more than Iraqis or Palestinians or Russians. We need to be Christians, not Americans or Australians etc.

I appreciate his passion for doing good works, just as I was in my 20's and did similar works. I just know that sometimes people can be lead away with emotion into error. I hope and pray this is not or will no happen to your generation. Remember it is the Truth in Love that we are called to live by and die for. Good works are a product of following Jesus who is the Truth and the fulfiller of the Law of God and the cleanser of our sins. That is True rebellion against the system 4 sure.

He actually speaks against it. Sometimes it's hard to know how to really follow Christ. When what we see is straight Religion not a Religion of working ethics as James speaks of.

He starts off speaking of the Gosple of man and all the entertianment. 1:09 What any of it had to do with Jesus. He was Methodist, 1:42 went forward and got born again. 1:50 He got born again, again and again. 2:06 He knew he was born again but didnt know how to follow? Interesting. Does Shane smoke weed??

The only problem with that statement is that you're not being a radical when you do that. You're just being Christian. :)

I believe you are confused indeed. I speak of love from the video that is obvious and not just from this video but scripturally as well. I was talking about the people who watch this video then attack others through video comments if they disagree or make a statement against it.

I'm kinda confused here, how did you pull anything out of this message than "love"? I'm not sure what voice you're listening to, but it doesn't sound like anything that Shane talked about. It sounds like a distortion of what he said... If anyone is pulling anything out of this than to be lovers, or if their life isn't based around loving, then perhaps they're hearing something other than God's voice.
