She was born in Los Angeles, California to a French father and Mexican mother, Carmen Montemayor"Mimieux appeared in a 1964 episode of Dr. Kildare entitled "Tyger Tyger" that proved one of the most memorable of the series, and was one of the highest rated shows of the year. She played an epileptic surfer girl whom Dr. Kildare falls in love with. She is forced to choose between abandoning surfing or risking death by following her passion despite the risk of having a seizure in the ocean."George Richard Chamberlain (born March 31, 1934) is an American actor of stage and screen who became a teen idol in the title role of the television show Dr. Kildare (1961-1966).
