I think you got the pointPersonally I think that she is too brillant to stay with men who don't know exactly what they want and need. I don't know the reason for her first divorce,BUT the 2nd husband started using drugs so she called it quitWith hamad, they just grew apart. he was not too much there for the familySo I think she knows what want and if it not, she moves on instead of taking craps to please the public. She is at peace with herself I just love her as a person

The Ayers guy she was first wed to? I think you meant to say, "the Bowles guy she was first wed to"(Phylicia's first husband's last name). Her birthname is Phylicia Ayers Allen which she used from the premiere of The Cosby Show until marrying Ahmad Rashad on 12/14/85.
