line 6 is crap, well solid state sucks, so go for the peavey

I agree. I have both a Marshall AVT150 Head and a Peavey Valveking VK100 Head and two Celestion loaded 212 cabs. The Valveking sounds much better than the AVT.

...i think that Valveking would kill any Marshall AVT series amp... and sure also the Line 6 spider 3... We are not comparing a Vk with a Plexy or a JCM800, but he asked to compare the VK with a Marshall AVT... so i would buy a Valveking... actually i have the VK100 running a Framus 2x12 loaded with V30... i'm so happy, and i have any hard rock\rock\metal sound i want. It's a very versatile amp, with a wonderful clean you can do jazz, blues pop, and a killer lead that can ben easly smoothed. Bye

Nice work...!Do you prefer the Celestions V30 over the Eminence you have installed now?

I recommend the Marshall, but that's only cause Marshalls are my favorite amps. : )

so if i bought this i could play some nice metallica/Black Label society riffs with this and maybe a nice overdrive?
Diisafatslag (December 31, 1969 at 4:59 pm)
a V30 in a valveking? wouldnt that sound bad as the valveking already puts out too much high mid as it is?

At 2:11 that's a really half assed rendition of "Beautiful Girls" by Van Halen. Thanks! : )

What is the song at 2.11, after Panama? It sounds really familiar and I hate it when I can't tell what it is when I clearly know it. Thanks, nice video anyways. |
