Just as it is difficult to compare Gunnar Gren,Nordahl,Liedholm or "Nacka" Skoglund to Laudrup. Different era to begin with. I guess Zlatan at least comes close to Laudrup though.

He was awful at Leeds! I saw every game he played.To be fair ro him he clearly wasnt fit after the fracture of his foot. However he was over weight and disinterested.More interested in trips back home and filling his suitcases up with limpa.

What a joke. Don't get me wrong, Brolin was fantastic and he is one of my favorite Swedish players. However you can't compare him to Michael Laudrup. Some quotes about Laudrup: Beckenbauer: "Pelé was the best in the 60's, Cruyff in the 70's, Maradona in the 80's and Laudrup in the 90's." Romário: "The best player I have ever played with and the 4th best in the history of the game together with Zidane." Raúl: "The best I have ever played with." |
