I'll take a REAL performance car, thank you very much. Mustangs are just "sporty" little coupes, and Shelbys are just a lot more money and not very well thought out. LOTS of horsepower, ZERO refinement. Challengers are just a re-bodied charger. A big, fat 4 door sedan. BOTH the cars are overweight porkers that handle like PIGS. Gimme a $45,000 400 hp base model C6 corvette over some wanna-be performance car like the stang or challenger. And the vette sells for sticker, unlike the Shelby ($75K!)

i hate it when you guys says " too bad Ford needs a supercharger to compete",,,its more like its amazing what they can do with only 5.4 liters! Not just compete,,,,OUT PERFORM!!!!

I take it you feel the same about every other 4 and 6 banger that comes stock with a turbolike, oh I don't know, dodges SRT-4!? Why be like Dodge and Chevy, and put bigger, expensive motors in already heavy cars, when you can create that power through a power-adder for MUCH less cost and weight? I'd imagine you think Mitsubishi and Subaru are also cheating."Buttoned down muscle car" what about this doesn't sound right in this video? Nobody buys a muscle car for its "tameness"

I definitely like the shelby supercharged v8 but that solid live rear axle is just stupid of ford they have to start designing a new suspension for that car.
