He wrote an autobiography and admitted to not being a good husband or father to his first family, which included Roseanne. The movie, Walk the Line was based on that autobiography.However, he was a great musician and songwriter and he always WANTED to do the right thing, even if he did fail now and then due to the sickness of addiction.
