What your saying is that Mutoh is japan's version of Hulk Hogan.

Agreed,Hashimoto and Hase were both sublime,Still,I find watching Muta/Mutoh very entertaining and think that he puts on a great match,You can blame me for having a personal opinion.

What you said. Great Muta has had how many "great" matches? Very few. It's the same for Mutoh. Yet for some reason, because he does a backflip and spits mist he gets a free pass. This is what I despise about NJPW from the 90's. Hashimoto & Hase were the best heavyweights there. Mutoh & Chono weren't even that great (Chono's best year was 2002). Mutoh's had great matches but more often than not it involves someone helping him have them.

Then why watch it?

Muta/Mutoh has always been and will be,'good'.
theredraven (September 1, 2008 at 10:17 pm)
Yeah. Japanese wrestling is better represented by guys like Kobashi, Kawada, Taue, Misawa, Hase, etc etc.Muta stopped being "good" the moment Hase stopped working for the same promotion as him.
