I rememberhating this song with a passion.. when i grew up.I hated it.Then i listened to tom waits,i still hated itthen i hated it a little less.now i fucking love itkinda like i love "she's like the wind",. hah.

This is my first time hearing this version and it is surprisingly better than I had expected. I love Tom Waits. He is one of my favorite songwriters of all time, and I thought this was going to be a huge letdown. I could not be more surprised. I guess it is Rod Stewart . . .

This song holds many memories for me, being 14 (altohugh the song came out 6 years before)living in my old house with my mum and dad, I look back at this song and remember good times :)
