Actually in the dark night returns batman breaks the jokers neck but doesn't kill him, the joker snaps ot the rest of the way to frame him. Each series is a different interpritation of him anyways. it all depends.

This series of movies are awesome.seriously ppl, read some comics/graphic novels. Batman has killed the Joker in a few stories, including the Dark Knight Returns. Also, when he was first created in 1940, he didn't go by his "no-kill" rule until like a year later.

but in this case i can understand batman to want the joker to die.

is Aaron Schoenke going to make this into a feature length? it would be good though, because Patient J was amazing. this is a real good trailer.

Nice stuff, but way too much going on-too many stories being incorporated-death of Robin, breaking of the Bat, etc-too much for one flick. Good looking batman and superman, though-wish the movies could get beyond the skinny actors with techy suits and get some actors with muscle that look like superheroes.
