well i didnt have enough room to put all those rapper's names in each era, so i had to only put 1 rapper or group in each era, but of course NAS & BIG represented the early 1990's newyork rap era, i just couldnt fit them in this little ass youtube messege box, lol

papoose (this is my opinion) dont sound real he sound like an act . and i would never put him anywhere close to nas
TossinHammers (December 31, 1969 at 4:59 pm)
and pap is mad nice but their are so many other rappers out there from n.y. that you cant say that just him alone is gonna bring back n.y....mickey factz is mad good saigon, wale, charles hamilton are all mad good so its not just him.and ive been hearing this bring back new york shit for longest time and the shit never gets done.what sells now its all about stupid southern snappy music that lowers your I.Q. every time you listen to it.its almost like they have to sell out to bring ny.. it back.

nevawrong you really cant make a timeline like that...their were so many rappers in those time periods that you really cant generalize it like that...like late 80's ya rakim is definately top 5 rapper ever but what about krs 1 or slick rick..and early 90's yeah wu was and ind still is a great force but what about b.i.g. or nas or a tribe called quest or de la soul...and what are you basing that on? skills, record sales, all around impact?...that timeline has really no relevence

U GOTTA BE JOKING RIGHT?
