@ Themusicman360: I don't know the exact 'prescription' for the choir, but I know it has to be large! Two reasons:1) they have not to be drowned by the huge orchestra2) especially the male parts are split up many times, so there have to be a lot of male singers

This is really something, truly an emotional ride like none other. I have to admit though, it feels a bit like cheating to listen to this finale without making the journey through the rest of the Symphony. . .
