I`m English. I love Praha, love the Czech Republic. (been to Brno, Prostejov & Olomouc) Love the music of Smetana, Dvorak & Dusek

It was written about Czechia! The Moldau is not in Austria (in the Czech Republic and in Germany) and Smetana was a Czech (quite patriotical). You are probably reminded, because Israeli anthem, Hatikvah, was inspirated by this symphony.

Why am I so reminded of Jerusalem when I hear this music- it was written about Austria, yet my thoughts turn to the Holy Land when I hear it.

Pardon mein deutch aber is this performance by an orchestra? Sounds a bit like syths.. I have listened to this many times as it was in my favourites but the more I hear it the stranger it sounds... maybe just the recording?
