Im impressed but I would prefer to take an animal like that at about 30 yards with a compound, it would be more exciting i think :)

this guy probably can shoot from up close and personal, but it's good to mix things up and enjoy the sport as much as you can. don't tell him he's doing anything wrong because he's not.

i wonder why they wear camo clothing LOL, its not like the elk is gonna see u at that distance idiots. This is a lame way of hunting imo. looked more like a sunday BBQ to me.

jeasus people stop crying. the bull dropped on impact. most of you couldnt even do that "up close and personal" so why all the unethical crap. do you know how much skill it takes to place a shot that well at that distance? no because you cant.

That was an excellent shot but not something that should be encouraged. this distance is fine when shooting at paper But, when shooting at game animals this distance usually results in a wounded animal that can't be tracked because it took too long to find it's trail because of the distance it took to walk. Obviously this man is a experienced marksman. Most guys are not and should not attempt this. None the less the shot was clean and well placed, great shot.

Very nice shooting, but not what you would call hunting. Unfortunately, technology is making it easier and easier for bubbas like these men to go out and execute elk at long range. Shame. Elk are majestic and deserve real hunters. Go buy yourself a compound bow and learn how to hunt.

im not sayin it was all done by the rifle and scope but with a good scope with dots for very long range its not as hard as it seems 2 make a shot like this

you're just jealous you can't shoot that good. It would be a little more exciting if you could get close but sometimes it just isn't in the cards. It was a good clean shot. He just had more options than the regular hunter. practice,practice, practice. Hell you probably wouldn't even spend the time it takes to develop the load to do that let alone practice it also.
