You are wrong, Caleb. People SHOULD be skilled at grammar and typing. Otherwise they simply make themselves look uneducated. It does not matter how smart you are. If I see you writing the kind of elementary garbage I see all over the Internet I am going to assume you are not a smart person.

OldFashionedMama: Not everyone who is skilled at grammar and typing is necessarily "smart" overall, and not every poor typist or poor writer is necessarily "stupid" overall.You should try to get the gist of what people are trying to say to you, conceptually, instead of sitting there analyzing their spelling and grammar....that will give you a much more accurate idea of how "smart" they are.
