jimmy v was my favorite coach of all time and a great person, this was the most powerful speech ever and I lost my dad to cancer so this speech even means more to me, the way this man went out with so much dignity is so moving, dont ever give up!

I was assigned a hw paper in my speaking class to write about a speech we saw, and this was the only one that even occured to me. This speech is so epic on so many levels. I just watched it again for the 50th time and cried again for the 50th time. Being a 21 collegiate basketball player, i'm still not ashamed of crying here.

That's right, but cancer, no matter where it originates, still can be deadly when it metastasizes (spreads) through the body. RIP Jimmy V "Never Give Up"
