yet she does look a lot like the comic book sonja, and thats what matters to me. she's not as beefy, but thats okay. and she has proven she can do action movies, so i cant see how she would fail the role. And Bridgette is an abysmal actress, so i would never hire her just because she's tall and butch

I think you're completely wrong, haven't you seen who they are casting as red sonja? Rose McGowan, she's too short and doesn't have the figure to play red sonja. Bridgette was brilliant and realistic of what Red Sonja would look like irl.
