to me, this song means that their parents got a divorce, and the kids get to see their dad every other weekend (as u prolly know already). So, i'm thinking that's pretty much it (but u might wanna ask a pro who knows wat theyre talking about)

this song makes me cry cuz my mom and dad are divorced and they dont have feelings for each other... they have moved on now.. they are both remarried and i hate it.... i wish they were still together... i hate having two diffrent families.... why did it have to happen??this song fits me soo much because i have to go to my dad's house every other weekendbut anywayz i love this song it is one of my favorites

I totally agree, but what about the father? my father for instance, I have moved in with my mother after the summerholidays, and what I think hurts the most is him not being able to see his child.

Every other weekend? That's only 4 days a month for daddy? That is NOT in the best interest of the children and what about EQUALITY? Everybody wants and gets equal rights except for the daddy :( I was a stay at home daddy for my 3 year old daughter. Madison was abducted by her mommy and taken 2,500 miles away, the court said that was ok... What is wrong with this picture???Our child need BOTH fit and willing parents as active participants in their lives. Please support EQUAL parenting!
