I must confess I have never been a fan of Mrs. DuPre, especially in her early years like this. I feel this is unusually superb however.

She is so beautiful and watch her play is so pleasant that you cant resist to think that she is an actress and the music is being played by someone else. Sorry! I have to believe.

She appears as Michelangelo's "Pieta" come to life. How wonderful!

When Jacqueline was just a little girl and she heard the cello on the radio for the first time, and she exclaimed, that she wanted to make that sound.... She knew absolutely where her destiny would take her. In a way, she had sixth sense. Sadly, she made another sixth sense in her tender age which foretell in her adulthood, that she would not be able to talk, and move at all. |
