well, I'm not a redneck. I enjoy barbeque though!
BigTimePlacebo (August 16, 2008 at 11:44 am)
hey man chill out. they don't cook pigs whole in my neck of the woods either but it's no need for trolling.

i feel sorry for you, because you sound like a redneck.
helorm341 (August 16, 2008 at 6:04 am)
I feel sorry for you then, I guess there isn't any good barbeque places around you
thesupremeknowitall (August 16, 2008 at 12:58 am)
I live in southern California and I can't think of a place that cooks pigs whole in a 200 mile radius. I always thought that was something that was done in the southern U.S., or Kansas City or something.

It's a whole pig, not little cuts of meat you can't seperate those things out after you cook a whole pig. "pulled" just means shredded, there's no other way to serve it. Pulled pork isn't regional, any real barbeque place around the country will have it.
BigTimePlacebo (August 15, 2008 at 4:54 pm)
i don't know if i've ever had any "pulled" pork in my whole life.mostly, i eat chops, or loin.if "most pork is served 'pulled'", maybe it's a regional thang, but not my region.

all they took off was fat and membrane..
helorm341 (August 13, 2008 at 4:49 am)
how else would you eat it? most pork is served "pulled" except for ham bacon and ribs...
