According to your opinion! When a large amount of people like something vs the other, it is usually a hint that generally it is more popular for whatever reason! Sound, style, who knows? As awesome as Dimebag was, he, Vinnie Paul, Phil and Rex were part of something much greater than just themselves. But remember there are plenty of people out there that love dimebag as a player but hated Pantera as a band also! Just someones opinion, and it does not mean shit to you or me!

Yeah, but it is still just opinion and taste!

Hey bongpack420: You are wasting your own time on this channel. Dimebag could play a solo on a peruvian ass flute and it would still be awesome...So what! this a Paul Gilbert channel, and Gilbert is a completely different player to Dime! Awesome in his own right!! Get over it, and stop crying about it!

all of you competitive guitar players need to take up drag racing. That way there is no debate on who the winner is.

bongpack420: I followed your link. I thought that all three of those solos were she-ite. Dimebag will always take the cake for his techinque and his soul/feel....I still do not like Rich Ward though!

Hey bongpack420: I would quit while you are behind! You obviously do not know your ass from your elbow.Take another hit bro and enjoy!

But if he already knew how to do it when he first picked up the guitar like you said he did, then he really didn't work that hard to create those styles did he. |
