This song was running as TOP HIT in the AudioChannels in the first HiSpeedTrains (ICE), but it was in 1991!, when I used German Railways (DB)frequently for about 120,000 kms.Was this Rod Stewart song already 20 yrs old at that time???Can't believe.

He was miming mandolin with his big pals The Faces as a dig at the fact that Top of the Pops never had bands playing live. Of course, Peely wasn't a player himself which just added to the joke. Interestingly,in those days, JP had nothing but contempt for TOTP and its inane presenting style but of course later he was to become one of the main anchors.
