Dave wrote this song during his time in Nirvana but did not show it to Kurt cus he didn't feel to comfy about it. He then recorded it during a session with Novoselic when Kurt did not show up. The song was released on a record called Pocketwatch under the pseudonym Late! THe name of the song was then Color Pictures of A Marigold. Later it was released as on the b-side heart shaped box. Cherio!
