This match is amazing. Ít's one of those rare matches where everything clicks. IMO this is as good or even better than Flair v Steamboat.

That part where Tenryu pushes off the ropes when Jumbo has him up for the backdrop wasn't a botch, Tenryu actually reversed it.

If you buy the original match from IVP videos or something they are just as loud as a American corwd, and back then that was a big deal. Plus, I believe it was the first singles match rated 5 stars by the Observer and is still considered by many to be a 5 star match, it just holds up that well.

That was a great match. Probably four stars or more, but 5? That was annimated for a Japanese crowd, but no comparison to the "pop" you'd see from an American crowd.
