Truely great musicians don't conform to any one genre. Gorillaz are sometimes trip hop sometimes something else.

'Clint Eastwood' is, yes. However, 'Feel Good Inc.' hearkens more to modern indie-rock in the tradition of Chikinki or Simian (pre-Mobile Disco era).

"You're listening to the music...but you're not hearing the music." That's one fuck of a quote, my friend. =D

um im probably not the best person to ask seeing as i didnt know what trip hop was till three weeks ago, but i would say clint eastwood is trip hop. im not sure about feel good inc tho. also sound check if you've heard it. i love that song.

hmm, true.. that's one thing i appreciate about them, being so diverse in their sense of music.. i would say feel good inc and clint eastwood are trip hop-ish, would that be accurate?
flyawayhome3 (December 31, 1969 at 4:59 pm)
theyre probably alternative as they dont fit into a specific genre. and because their songs can be so different from each other (eg punk and dont get lost in heaven) |
