This video (the newer animation you see here) is one of five in a series created that retells the story that the anime/manga told many years ago in the 80's. There are actually a few sub-plots shown in the five movies that did not come out in the anime (don't know about manga).

can someone lend a hand im so confused. the fist of the north star was the best program i ever saw. i only saw the funanimation dubs wich as to like the 38th ep or something,im so confused. can someone tell me what happend. apparently theres hundreds of episodes. is the a version of all the episodes with english subs. why does rei look diffrent here and why are the grapics diffrent. also what is the fistof the north star film like (both anime and non)thanks.

i actually like this one, it may take getting used to, but it is the same hair color as that in the original manga.
