You think Paul Desmond, one of the living legends of jazz, is struggling? Man, I think you just showed 13,152 (which is the number of people that have viewed this video so far) people how clueless you are.Paul Desmond was not only a legend, but one of the best alto saxophonists of his generation or any generation for that matter. I'm surprised that you don't your facts, so the only suggestion I have for you is to learn about jazz and actually listen, then you might learn something.

Great to see him play! The sax player is strugglin' a bit. I got this tune as 6:44, from the album. That's a killer.

Fantastic! Besides the truncated Blue Rondo rendition on the Ralph Gleason program, this is the only other Blue Rondo version I've seen, except this one isn't cut off 1/3 of the way through. Great!
