think about ita long chain attached to a sickle with a ball or a sharp object swinging around keeping them reckless blunt weapon users away in a safe distanceif u come up close with a weapon of almost any kind that chain will wrap around it and disarm you then the light sharp sickle will go in for the blowbut in the end its what you're good atand what you like

A Kusarigama can rape anything in the right hands you got to remember a ninja with this would be able to sneak up on anyone with plate armor slip it under a slit and tear open a large hole that would make the person bleed out or worst and one of my personal favorites sneak up behind some one throw the chain over the neck hold it then slice the back of the neck or throat wide open

Some people dont think before they write, any weapon in the hands of an expert is devastating. Also these weapons are made for combat suited for the time and place, just as the longsword and plate armour suit the time and place of thier own origin. The japanese had blunt weapons like the boken while used in practise it is a combat ready weapon that can split a skull or break bones and its faster and lighter than a morning star. Do your homework before showing your ignorence.

why the hell the japs had to do all these strange weapons while a common morning star or a longsword could rape anyone easily in the right hands. Also any decent western plate armor was enough againts katanas or these things... blunt is the way to go :P
