To sprygeoffreya17Flicka is the name of FvSs fathers pony, and from her childhood she had been called like this familiarly and lovingly, not only by the members of her family, but the general public and specially by her fans, and she always agreed with this habit with affection and in a good mood. (See on YT the interview by Charlie Rose, November, 30, 1994)There are even several records (vinyl, CD, DVD) with this nickname in the cover.

FVS is the greatest of the greats a mezzo yes, but there are some songs that you would believe she were a soprano. Beautiful person, inside and out. Remarkable person and voice. I can't say enough good about her!
