Yup it was Ellen who discovered her. But Ellen is in another tv station while David is working with Oprah, from another station, in introducing her to the world. So I think Charice was advised beforehand that she cannot mention Ellen.

orpodix, yes ka na lang. That is the part the we don't really know 100%. It could be that EDG found her, had her on her show, introduced her to DF and this is where her part ends. Who knows! or maybe DF did really discover her and asked EDG to get her on her show. Anything is possible. Sometimes they say Oprah found her in UTube. ang mahalaga, they found her.

Why does she always say in recent interviews that David Foster is the one who discovered her??? It was Ellen who discovered her.

I agree, she has tremendous power and control. And I love how passionate her performances are. In my humble opinion she often goes "all-in" too soon in the song, that's all. But you make an excellent point.

The long "YOU" in the last part of the song is very difficult to duplicate even by a seasoned performer. That's where Charice excels and it is where magic came from...Amazing!!!

It's a powerful song. It needs a lot of power behind it. She has great control and know when to project more and when she needs less. This video is perfect evidence to that. You should have left your comment on a Christina Aguilera video. She's the one that thinks screaming into the mic is artsy.

I think Charice is amazing. So please don't get your panties in a bunch when I say she goes from 15 to 150 miles per hour with almost every song. Where is her vocal coach? The audience errupts every time she floors it, but very often, less is more.Hopefully someone on her team is letting her know that. |
