Actualy thiefs in Japan are far less common than the states or other countries. Most of the time if you ever have something stolen, its a foreigner who did it. I have been there 3 times (soon to be 4) And I feel the safest in that country than anywher else ive been. Otherdragons is right that most people walk or bike, Though I think people are a little more aware of things and generally drive slow down most non busy streets.

geez. if that penguin was mine i wouldn't let it go off walking by its self like that. there is probably all sorts of people that would want to kidnap, hurt or murder him.

Well, assuming in japan MOST people walk... (Though I've never ACTUALLY been to Japan) We can assume that he won't be run over... Maybe by a bike or something like that though...

Thanks! Penguins are always so heart-warming. And I also hope nothing bad happens to this guy. He seems to be very smart for a penguin, by the way...

funny comment :) but I also worry about the traffic. Let's pray nothing happens to it.

Ok, this may hurt my masculine pride but I have to say this: this penguin is the cutest and cuddliest thing I've ever seen. The angle of view when this fellow is waddling back home (from behind) :)) is hilarious. I hope nobody saw me typing this (quick glance over my shoulder). No, I'm alone (phew!) :)But I would be worried about thiefs and the traffic if I were the owner... |
