The 80's had great music, I was happy I was a teen in the 80's, the 90's had good music too with Nirvana, Pearl Jam and the grunge rock stuff. But how horrible is music today for the teens? IT is pathetic, everything is image, there are no real "bands" anymore. Pathetic.

Yeah. Journey, Foreigner, Def Leppard, old Rush and Boston. Triumph. They had a headspace that is completely missing in today's music. Nowadays everything is commercialized trash. The only thing that comes close is obscure metal, but that still doesn't have it.
